A Historic Celebration of American Heritage
The Enterprise Flight will carry hair samples containing what we believe to be the DNA of George Washington, Dwight Eisenhower, and John F. Kennedy. These will be included on a spacecraft containing DNA, cremated remains, and MindFiles of more than 200 individuals – on an infinite voyage into interplanetary space. Later this year, a United Launch Alliance (ULA) Vulcan rocket will lift off from Cape Canaveral, Florida, bound for the Moon and subsequently for a heliocentric (solar) orbit more than 300 million kilometers from Earth. Once the Centaur 5 stage has achieved this orbit, the Enterprise Flight will be renamed Enterprise Station – humankind’s furthest outpost. How We Obtained Presidential DNA
Celestis was gifted these hair samples and associated Certificates of Authenticity by an anonymous donor for the purpose of including them on a deep space mission several years ago. We have been maintaining the samples in our climate-controlled storage facility in preparation.
The source for these samples was well-known celebrity hair collector and appraiser Louis Mushro, who built a global reputation as the leading expert in the field before his passing in 2014.
